Do MIGRAINES interfere with your weight loss intentions?

I suffer from migraines and I know that migraines have derailed my weight loss programs in the past. In the midst of a looming migraine, I reach for instant calories (thinking that the migraine may have been brought on by too little food).
Also, post migraine, I rarely have the good sense to eat early in the day and resume normal living patterns.
Anyone else have tips for managing good eating routines with less migraine interference?
Seems good eating and less migraines should go hand in hand, but I get most migraines around my period, regardless.

Unfortunately, not for me. My migraines are brought on by certain tomato sauces and I don't eat those sauces.0

I only get one probablly every two months, and lucky for me it completely takes away my appetite, and get sick to my stomach, all I can do to get rid of it is sleep. For me I think they are usually brough on by lack of water, I would go for days or even a whole week without even drinking one glass of water, just getting liquid from coffee and milk and fruit. I am drinknig alot more now, so havent had one for a while, So when I do get one, I drink drink drink...water that is lol0

Same here, I get them about once a month. I lose my appetite...0 -
I got lucky and identified my triggers for them finally. Periodically though I still get that random one.
I can't imagine trying to do any training during it.0 -
I don't think they have affected my diet other than craving chocolate, coffee or anything to get the endorphins going, but exercising? YES. It's not like you can work out with a raging migraine or cluster headache! I suffered with them from the age of 18 and at 51, still have them but not as often.
I finally found out that I had undiagnosed, crazy high blood pressure that would fluctuate tremendously. Ever since I have gotten that under control, they are much less frequent. I see a neurologist who specializes in migraines and I honestly feel like he saved my life.0
