So if any of you are busty, like I am, you most likely have a hard time finding a good sports bra that doesn't cut out finances for a week of food.
The week before my period my boobs hurt, BAD. So trying to run is an absolutely not. I do other things, but it doesn't burn as many calories.
What do you do the week before (if you have my problem) or the week of?

I don't quite have the same problem but I would suggest saving a little money each week for a few weeks to purchase a good quality sports bra. It's a great investment and will last you a long time if you care for it properly.
As for when your breasts hurt that bad, take it easy on your exercise routine! You can put in the time to increase the length of time you're walking (ie. brisk walking or even leisurely) to burn calories or try a different form of cardio where your core is more stationary (ie. cycling). Also, calories aren't everything. Your health and relative comfort are much more important0
