All the weight i have lost i gained back

I need some support from the people of MFP on what to do. I have seen many of my friends who have gained all the weight back and just quit on this site and i do not want that to be me. I am willing to go and try again. The problem is that i have figured out that i have an eating problem where anything that i think is good i keep eating and it is hard for me to stop. I see that it is effecting me but it is hard for me. So i am also asking for some tips for people out their who have similar problems to me. I want o get back in gear and try to finish my goals on MFP

  • i lost 70lbs before and gained it all back plus some.

    i have now lost 130lbs and still losing weight. this is going to be my life for the rest of my life. I will always know that I have to fight with myself on food and always have to workout to keep the weight off.

    For me, it is all about portion size. I really had to get to know what actual portion sizes are and stick to them.
    That is the best advice that I can give to anyone trying to lose weight.
    The only thing that I have found that I can eat as much as I want, are radishes. They satisfy something in me for crunchy, they are extremely low calorie, and I love them. The added bonus is that they are cheap. I always have them in the house.

    you can change the way you look at food so that it isnt such a negative experience.

    Read and study what happens to food once it hits your stomach. Educating yourself on nutrition and hunger can really help deal with hunger and making better choices.

    I will always need to be aware of my food amounts but I dont look at it as a fight.

    Food is to fuel us and can provide enjoyment.

    a Positive rather than negative Attitude towards what we are doing is important.
