Unemployment question

I am currently working part time, about 20-22 hours per week. The place I work at is probably going to close and I was wondering if anybody knew anything about unemployment and if i'm eligible to collect it even though I wasn't full time.

    Yep. I worked part time at Jcpenney and got laid off earlier this year. I was able to collect so you should be able to as well. It takes awhile for all of that stuff to process so you should probably apply as soon as you know for sure that the company is going down.

    Your state should have UEI information available. I believe that it can vary from state to state.
