Sautee/Fried Veggies

Some people call it sauteed & some call it fried... either way I used 2 tbsp of Bertolli Extra Light Olive oil to sautee almost a whole head of cabbage & I use the same amount to sautee 2-4 green bell peppers.

For 2 tbsp of the olive oil it is 240 calories, 28g Fat, & 4g Sat Fat. I try to pat the cabbage with a paper towel after it's done to try to absorb a little of the oil. But how can I calculate the correct number of calories for me to have a half cup of the cabbage including some of the oil?

1one medium head of cabbage is approximately 10 cups. each cup is approximately 20 calories per cup. the meal is 210 (10 cups times 21 calories per cup) plus 240 (for the oil) divided by 10 cups (the amount of cabbage total). answer 45 calories for 1 cup of sauteed cabbage or 22 for 1/2 cup.

You can also try the spray olive oil. You usually need just enough to coat the pan and a quick spray over the veggies. Tastes just as good.
