Leaving WW online

I just joined Weight Watchers online, thinking that it would give me extra motivation to pay more attention to my diet but all I see is an expensive MyFitnessPal that doesn't have half the food database MFP has. I'm kicking myself for joining for 3 months and spending $60 to do it, and will NOT do it again.

My questions is.......

If anyone here knows, will I be able to get a refund if I cancel now? I've been on it for 8 days now.

Thanks, Carly "motivated now"

  • They should only make you pay for the 1 month and refund you the 2 months. Go ahead and cancel online and it will tell you for what length of time you have to pay for.

Maybe, their customer support is pretty good. Call the 800 # and see what they say. Good luck! I left WW for the same reason! That and every January they change the program, it was really frustrating.

I would call and talk to one of their reps (1-800-651-6000). I don't know what the policy is but I know when I did weightwatchers at work, they gave some folks a prorated refund when they stopped going. And there are special circumstances where they don't want you to do their program and they give refunds... pregnancy, doctor's note, etc. There may be something else! Whenever I have called the number, they were always very helpful.

Thank you everyone for the great help! I love your suggestion, mrswilsoncroft. I'd almost be bold enough to try it but I"m 50 years old and I think they might figure that out. Yikes!

You'll be fine honestly, email the customer services and right away they'll refund it. They did for me xxx
