Not new....looking for new friends

Hi Everyone!

My name is Kelly. I have been on MFP consistently since June of 2012. My goal was and is to become healthy. I have been always active but my eating has not been the best. January 2012, I started the year off right with exercising and eating right. In March, I went to see my doctor because I just was not feeling right and gained weight despite me staying on track. After lots of testing, I found out I have several hormonal imbalances. It has been a slow start for me but I am finally starting to get my energy back and I am finally starting to see some results on the scale.

I am looking for a great support network for 2013. I have not finalized my goals yet for the new year but the most important one is to lose weight!!!! I would like to lose 30lbs.

OH!! In October my doctor advised me going gluten and dairy free! The reason being is because of my hormonal issues and some gastrointestinal problems. By going gluten and dairy free, has helped me alot! I feel better....my stomach is not always on fire and I have more energy. It has been hard for me to do this. I have not been good during the holidays but getting back to it today.

we have a member in our family that was dairy, egg, beef, gluten. When we started with the gluten part it was very diffucult to find foods. After 4 years it is getting better for options. We are now just gluten free so it seems like it is a breeze to cook for her now.

Hi, feel free to add me. I'm always looking to encourage and be encouraged. I haven't lost much, but i haven't gained weight which is really good. 2013 is the year to make it happen! Cheers!

Feel free to add me! :)
Hope everything will go well for you in 2013 and you will get to feel the amazing benefits of being fit all year!
I also eat partly gluten free, I'm still looking for the root of my health issues, which they believed was gluten intolerance at first, but eating gluten free for a long time hasn't solved a thing for me, so I'm half eaten gluten free, half not. I guess positive part about GF diets that if you don't switch it ALL to just their gluten free counterparts, your diet actually tends to get healthier. I hope you can stick to it!
