Gym Membership

So I recently decided to do a gym membership since they give a student discount. I was wondering what do you guys do from day to day at the gym? I like the Elliptical, and the treadmill yoga class they offer.Besides that I am out of my element. I am just getting started again since a fractured pelvis, and am trying to find different exercises to get off the 25+ lbs I gained.

Also I believe nutrition tends to be a weakness. I am working on eating healthier foods, lower in fat. Starting to read food labels and learn what to walk away from. Thanks for your help!

    Sounds like you're really on a good path.

    At the gym I do 30 minutes on the bike or rowing machine & then spend about an hour on free weights. I do the Strong Lifts 5x5 program plus some other weights. My upper body is so much weaker than my lower body so in conjunction with the 5x5 plan I split my days between upper & lower body weight routines.
