what would you change it to?
(feel free to tell us what your real name is. or not).

My name is Gabrielle, but the name on my birth certificate is Calico. I like my name, but I wish she hadn't changed it (when I was 6... not too confusing for me).,, I like Calico.

whenever I have to introduce myself to strangers, I feel like I'd give anything to change my name to something normal, like "Anne" or "Jessica"

I'm so sick of hearing "Hello, Clarise" 50 ****ing times a day.

I like my maiden name. Toarmina. It has history. There is a town in Sicily called Taormina. My grandfather came to this country as a young boy in 1905 from there. When he grew up, there was another man with the same name who was writing bad checks, causing problems for grandpa. So he changed the spelling of our name (reversed the o and a). I like Toarmina.

I'd like anything other than Georgina. GEORGINA!! It's the name of an old woman. Although I don't mind Georgie.

    lol... yeah, I can imagine.
My maiden last name is the same as a VERY famous old time actor (like Astaire or Chaplin, etc.)... EVERY time I told someone they made a comment. that *kitten* got OLD, fast.

Nope! I love my name. Molly fits me perfectly. Plus it's easy to spell and everyone can pronounce it.

...Though I would change my married last name if I could, just to not share a name with my in-laws, who are the worst people in the world. I'd give anything to not be linked to them. I've always liked the last name "Snow", which is what I'd change it to if I could. It would sound a lot better with mine, my husband's and our son's names, too.

My name is Cindy Lou Lebeau. I am a character from The Grinch That Stole Christmas and from the X-men. I think I win at the name game for a nerdy girl.
