Help me with my Vison Boards!

I'm very visual, and thought I'd make a "Vision" board to put up on my wall to help motivate me/remind me to do what I need to do. I've been horrible lately, and really need to get on track and get some weight off (100 lbs). I bought poster board, pretty colored sharpies, etc. Now... I just need to figure out how to put them together. Some things I thought of was a calendar type board with the dates down the side, then boxes going across for each day that I can mark for things like Under Calories, NO Soda, Exercise, Taking my supplements... not sure what else. I also thought of a board that I could track my exercise in miles (20 minutes = 1 mile) and sort of making a map to different places I'd like to go. I'd also like to put inspirational quotes.

Has anyone ever made a vision board? Any suggestions? I'm not very artistic or creative, so I could use some help! Thanks!

I've heard of a vision board but I've never made one. It's interesting that you posted this because I've done something kind of like this for 2013 but without all the extra fluff. I just printed calendars (1 month per page) for the next 5 months and attached them to poster board so I can really see the time passing to the date I want to hit my goal. I figure this way I can't delude myself into thinking "I can eat this today, I have plenty of time til summer". Each day that I do well, I mark off with a black marker. If I have a bad day, it will be in red. If I stay all black, I should be able to meet my goal. If I start seeing a bunch of red, I won't be able to ignore it....and I'll know that's why I'm not losing weight/inches.
  • If you google "weight loss vision board examples" or "how to make a weight loss vision board" you will get lots of tips and advice on creating your own board plus images of vision boards made by others - very inspiring!

    Hope that helps :-)
