I am trying to figure out how many calories that I need to eat. I went in and figured out my body fat which is 40.8%. My current weight is 186 and my goal weight is 150. That site said I need to eat over 2000 calories a day. My mind is telling me there is no way for me to lose any weight if I am eating 2200 calories a day. MFP says that I should eat 1210 calories a day. I just started the 30 day burn by Jullian Michaels which I will be doing daily for the next 30 days. I am also planning on cardio at least 4 days a week for 30 - 45 minutes.

THIS
And remember to eat back your exercise calories as your daily deficit is built into your MFP recommended goal.
GOOD LUCK :flowerforyou:0 -
This site worked well for me until I started eating back my exercise calories. Then I gained weight. I won't be doing that again.0

This site has worked perfectly for me and I have always eaten back all of my calories even the ones for cleaning!0

I have found that the notion of exercise calories is scary to some. It sure was to me at first.
Once I found that zone, I felt empowered.
As for "cleaning" being exercise, I even found a way to incorporate that by wearing a weighted vest.
Everybody must fine their own way, and if what somebody is doing produces results, great!
There is more than one way to skin that cat.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!0 -

When I first started on MFP I ate the 1200 cals a day plus exercise and it worked just fine.
It worked for me0 -
Hey when I started I was eating 1980 cals a day. Thats when I was at a 230 pounds. (or more)
So yes that seems about right.0 -
Ok... thanks all!
I will stick to a minimum of 1210, and try and do a happy medium with the deficit.0
