New Year's Eve - how many drinks?

Drinking = calories. How many drinks do you all think it's ok to drink without totally derailing tonight?

I PLAN on having just two glasses of wine. as of this moment we dont have any big plans. If I do go anywhere I have skinny girl margarita mix - I'll bring that and have a glass or two. Its a 'holiday', so i indulge a little

I have a giant bottle of gin, diet tonic, and limes. I'm done with work around 4. I'm gonna sit on my couch and drink til I puke. Therefore, it'll be free calories.

So, if I come over at 11:45 pm, and then leave at 12:15, you won't remember a thing?

    Cool. I'm there.

    DRINK ALL THE CALORIES!

It's a holiday, even in Canada. Therefore, the calories don't count. I'm having 1 for you, ZC.

I am of the opinion that holidays are a time to spike calories. I am not excessive but I do indulge. I will have a few drinks, but that is only a few.....but more because I am old enough to understand the correlation between drinks and hang overs and losing an entire day feeling like crap because I drank more than I needed.

I drank a bottle of gin last year. Most of it came back out, so it was negative calories. I'm thinking of making it a tradition.

Boyfriend is working, so my plan is to drink a glass and a half of champagne before passing out on the couch at 11pm with my dog.

Unknown. One of my best friends is coming over late this afternoon, and the beer/wine will probably start then. The four of us will probably go through a few bottles of wine and a couple other cocktails before the night is through. I'm over 40 and know my limits :)

I'm actually staying in for the first time since I was about 16, which also means no hangover on New Years day for the first time in 14 years. However I'm brewing up some warm spiced cider to enjoy and am not intending to log the cals. Last blow out of 2012.

One night isn't going to derail your overall weight loss/maintenance. Even if it comes at the end of an extended holiday period of indulgence, the calories of this one night aren't going to make or break anything.

LOL this is the best, and would understand if you were serious ;)
