My friend recommended powdered curry spice. I bought some. What should I put it on.

I have a tuna salad I put it one, I also put it on tofu scramble (with rice). You can put it on a variety of things. I find though that "curry" is a generic term. Look up how to make one of your own as that can taste better.

Yum Yum Yum. Curry is good stuff! Try it on chicken with garlic and cumin. Smells great, tastes better. Check out Show Me the Curry.com to see all sorts of great ways to use curry and other wonderful Indian spices.
ps if you decide to try some of this wonderful stuff, stock ingredients from your local Indian Grocery store and get the best prices as well as the best stuff.

Marinade any meat or fish with the spice blend and Greek yoghurt, make a lentil and vegetable curry with block creamed coconut for richness.

I put that *kitten* on everything...beef, pork, veggies, potatoes, pizza (I make a mean Naan pizza), chicken, seafood...
  • I also mix curry with ketchup and dip turkey or chicken sausage in it.

Curry spice has many anti-inflammatory properties. adding ginger fresh before with some onions and garlic to make a small skillet with some oil helps to draw out the flavors. You can then add to toss up any vegetable or combination there of. As a saute I like this with thin sliced cabbage and potatoes. As a marinade with yogurt for chicken beef pork or goat. add a little stock to this and finish with some chopped mint. You can add Curry Powder to many dishes to boost flavor even just a dash or two for stews or roasts. Add to mayo for chicken or egg salads. Hope you enjoy.

Also look for a spice blend Garam Masala this makes any curry better.

Agree with everything wait-loss said: I like it on eggs, egg salad, chicken salad, cottage cheese.

if you don't use your own spice mixes in lentil dishes or add it to rice or quinoa
