Feeling weak.

Hi all,

This is my first time posting and I am seeking some advice. I have been eating as clean as possible for the last month and the inches have been melting off. I have done moderate exercise until the last few days I have been trying to step up my workout game. Mostly because I've been feeling like my muscles are craving being worked. Usually after working out I am tired, of course, but after a good glass of water and a shower I have a huge burst of energy for the rest of the day. Today was not like that. I feel SUPER drained all over my body. Even after eating lunch and drinking more water I still don't feel well. I feel like my body is needing something but I don't know what. Any suggestions on what I may have done wrong or what I can do to boost my energy?

Without knowing what and how much you are eating this is a 'how long is a piece of string' question. Could be low on overall calories, blood sugar, mineral imbalance, dehydrated (water alone does not hydrate you). What is your idea if clean, are you eating a balance of ALL the food types - fruit and veggies, nuts and seeds, oily fish, dairy, starchy carbs? Are you taking enough rest days in your workout routine, are you sleeping well, might you be coming down with something?

If you are only consuming water after a workout any energy burst may well be adrenaline, which is not necessarily that healthy on a regular basis. Try giving your body the nutrients it needs to repair and refuel - protein and carbs at a minimum - within twenty minutes of finishing training if you intend to train again the following day.
  • I am just starting eating clean and was reading Paldo Diet Lifestyle. it says don't over- exercise. keep training sessions short and Iintense and only a few times a week. take extra time off if you feel tired. I am going to have to adjust my workouts too but hope not much where I miss it.
