I know it has to be some 30 and over fellas out there. My wife and I have tried everything to get right and tight, and every year we start good and then give up. We have been stationed in the UK since 07 and it was rainy and gloomy ,doesnt really put you in the mode to workout. I just got stationed in Florida. We arrived on 15 Dec and now that we are in the sun we realized man UK put some weight on us. So I will support her and she will support me but having some brothers out there to support me would be cool.
I like to play basketball but since my achilles tear in 2010 from playing bball Its been hard to get back into it with fear of tearing the other one shooting ball. I also play COD 2k13 and Madden. Even though my Jets sucked this year I will still run with them on the game. My son is 13 now and is trying out for bball so I have to lead from the front without losing my breath. I wont give up on my weight loss this time I will have to channel my old Marine Corps mentality and get the job done. I have three daughters ( I think that's where the weight came from ages 7,6,1) Again fellas send me a request so we can keep each other motivated!!

Hey, my condolences to a fellow Jet fan.
Good luck with getting back in shape. It all boils down to calories in and calories out of course, but if your serriously looking to get in shape you might want to try the Beach Body Insanity DVDs. They are the closest things i've found to participating in a real athletic training practice session. There are drills in there that you will remember (and maybe hate lol) no matter what sports you played in highschool/college.
Its pretty intense so you might want to be careful with the tendon, but if you do it intelligently and modify when necessary it should probably go a long way to strengthen the injured tendon.0 -
