Thank you to MFP staff and my story..

After a failed start or two, I was finally serious about changing my lifestyle and health. Instead of guessing if I ate well, I was ready to manage my eating and excercise. I started this past September and have lost nearly 25 lbs. Folks at the gym noticed today, but the thing is that it was so slow that I didn't feel as if I was depriving myself, I was just regulating my behavior by eating reasonably.

My thank you is to the staff and ownership of this site for having it. It's a great idea and it benefits the life of those who use it. :flowerforyou:

    Good for you! Many of us have had similar experiences. I am happy that things just clicked this time. In my experience, determination coupled with the motivation that this site offers has made the difference. Continued success and good health to you. Happy New Year!!!

    It does help. It isn't magic..but after dieting and fads...this is way to just start making sense of it all. For me, what i've learned here..is that I can eat more than i ever thought i could. I have not hit my plan hard..but have logged in everyday to track and get an idea of a plan that can work for me. After years of starving and making food an issue. I hope to use mfp to find a lifestyle where I can eat, workout..and look the way I want.
