How average were you this festive season?
"Weight loss experts" (who sell a pill) and the Daily Mail claim the "average" person in Britain will eat 38,000 calories over the 8 day period, including 3,000 calories of sweets, seconds and thirds at Christmas, and 16 cans of lager, 9 "glasses" of wine, and 2 "glasses" of champagne tonight.
They claim the "average" person will gain 6 pounds this week.
Hands up if you ate and drank what is "average" and have a TDEE of 2,500 (male) or 2,000 (female).
I will have consumed around 17,600 calories and my TDEE is around 3,300... my hands are staying down.

From my last weigh in till this one I gained 3lbs. I went over twice, otherwise I was under everyday.0

I lost almost two and a half pounds Christmas week. I ate less that 2000 cals a day, and time off work meant extra time for hiking.0
