Hi all,
I am 35 soon 36 yo and I have not *that* much to lose - I am (almost) 5'3" and weigh 136.4 this morning, and overall I have been at this weight and stayed +/-2 lbs stable for quite a while, but I feel better in my workouts and overall shape when I'm around 130 lbs. 128 is my goal. I've been all over the place weight-wise these past 7 years, from 105 lbs after an "anorexic" 2~3 year-long episode to 155 lbs right before that, and all the pounds lost and gained back and forth over the last year and a half probably equals a large-size elephant by now.
I want balance and a joyful commitment to a lifestyle improvement! Oh and I'm getting married to my favorite man in the world soon, so it would be awesome if I could be at the best shape of my life when that happens this Spring :-)
I also quit smoking 3 months ago. And that's a challenge.
I have tried MFP last summer and went down to 132 lbs but quickly gained it back and couldn't stick to it - partly I think because I had no support and people around me who held me accountable.
So there - I'd like support to stick to it this time, and find a new balance!
Cheers!
