I want to post my resolutions and for everyone to post their's so that we can be accountable for our resoluions. They don' have to be about weight loss! My resolutions are to lose 30 pounds. Continue on my road to being a full vegetarian. Not eat red meat for 6 months, started today!!!! Get all A's these next 2 semesters for nursing school. And finish my first full marathon. I have big goals set ahead of me, but also a lot of little ones to make this possible! I will be here for support to get through all of our goals! Here we go new year! Post away!!!!

Taking a step out of my comfort zone... been here at MFP for almost two years and love to read all the posts, but never comment.
I don't really have a resolution, but more of a goal for 2013, and I wanted to put it out there so I will try even harder to make it happen.
My goal is to run 2,000 miles in 2013.
Good luck to everyone today and through the year ahead.0 -

I do not set NY Resolutions but have on-going goals...same thing really.
I am seeking to be 185lbs by April at 12% body fat.
The key to success is setting goals that are reasonably attainable, specific and with a deadline attached.
Success in anything is a choice, and it begins with knowing where you want to go, making a plan, then working that plan.
Simple....:bigsmile:0 -

At the start of every year I make a resolution to not make any resolutions. They are meaningless because I hardly ever keep them. But, I do sometimes have goals. One of my goals this year is to maintain my weight loss.
Another is to transition from vegetarian to vegan. If I am not able to, it's okay. That doesn't mean that I'm a failure.
To me a resolution is written in stone--all or nothing. It's better for me to have attainable goals which can take as long as they take to reach than resolutions that must be done in a certain time frame.
Good luck to all of you have resolutions and/or goals. I hope you achieve what you want.0 -

New years resolutions fitness wise is to work on my will power with food and work myself up from my 2 mile run to a 5mile run, maybe even a marathon. I also want to get to goal (170-180) by October of this year for my wedding!!! Good luck everyone!0

4. Say Please keep me abstient when I wake up in the morning.
5. Strive to be the best girl friend I can be.
6. Write three pages every morning.
7. Smile.

Not fitness related at all, but I want to make an effort to talk to the people I love more. I'm not geographically close to many of my family and friends, and I'm the worst communicator on the planet. They love me anyway, and I just want to be a little more explicit in showing them I feel the same.
I never want to regret missing a last opportunity to say something important, just because I have a little bit of phone anxiety.0 -

- Lose 50 pounds by end of 2013
