Total surplus will be one of the biggest factors in fat gain. The more aggressively you bulk, regardless of how you partition it, the more fat you are going to gain.
If it were me, I'd keep your net surplus to about 250/day maximum regardless of how you decide to cycle intake throughout the week.
Cardio should be done to personal preference or as needed if you need to create a larger TDEE for dietary reasons.0
