Weight training calorie burn

I'm a newby, and I was a little disappointed in the lack of weight training exercises in the database. Also that there doesn't appear to be the ability to assign calorie burn to weight training exercises when you manually enter them. What's up with that?!
I've been doing high intensity weight training for a couple of years now, and it's been demonstrated over and over that calories are not only burned while you are doing them, but for many hours afterward. (EPOC - excess post-exercise oxygen consumption).
Am I missing something with this app? If I'm not getting any calorie credit for weight lifting, it seems kind of whacked out.

Look for strength training under the cardio exercises. That entry will give you calories.
I use the jefit app to track my actual weights and progression.0 -
I also use the strength-training under cardio as an estimate for my calories burned, at least those burned during the exercise itself. I don't worry about the ones that are burned later in recovery!0
