Made to Crave in 2013

I just started reading Made to Crave by Lysa TerKeurst over Christmas Break. Anybody interested in going through it together to discuss?

I just got married on Dec 1 , 2012 and want to get healthy before I am a "mommy"! Now that college is over and I can finally focus on myself I am ready for my journey! Our family friend who is a Pastor inspired me to start getting healthy this year as he lost tons of weight last year. I saw a post last week about Made to Crave from my friend at our old church and i'm hooked! I don't have the book yet, but on day 5 of the Devotional book!

I think the devotional is very similar to the book, maybe even has excerpts from it.
Let me know if you want to chat about it.
And congratulations on your recent marriage.

Sure thing! I just got the Kindle version today for $2.99. So far in the first 6 days I find it easier to make healthier choices, I'm leaning more on God to get me through this journey and I feel more successful already than "starving" myself on crazy diets from the past. It seriously is the best book I've ever picked up!

Prayers for you this week knowing that God will not not give up on you for He loves you and not to be tempted. Remember to nourish your body with healthy stuff for it is His temple!

Maybe we can be "friends" on here and do a weekly encouragement update and use the book to help each other out!? Have a blessed week!

Hi! I just purchased this book, too. So jealous that you found it for $2.99 - I paid around $8 for my Kindle version. While I'm an expert on exercise and eating well, I just cannot make myself establish health habits. But I sure can pick up many more unhealthy habits, especially ones related to junk food. I finished chapter one today and am so excited to read through the book.

I'd love to discuss this with everyone!

I just started reading the book yesterday. I love Proverbs 31 Ministries, and bought both Made to Crave and Unglued. I only have the book though, not the workbook or devotional that goes with it.
