Question about carbs and muscle building

I am trying to gain weight right now, around 10lbs. I do actually need to put some fat on my body but I plan to have 6-7 of those pound from muscle gains hopefully. I have all the knowledge I need of protein intake but I was wondering if I should monitor carbs while I am trying to build muscle? I am a clean eater 90-95% of the time so a lot of my carbs are healthy grains but I do enjoy the occasional treat.

Most of your calories should be fat/protein, with a balance of good carbs (Fruit, vegetables) with stuff like whole grain bread, things like that. Just increase your calorie goal per week, and alter the proportions slightly so that you're eating a few more grams of protein and healthy fat, and less of sugar.0

Shoot for a slight to moderate surplus of 10-20%, get in adequate proteins and fats and fill in the rest of your cals however you'd like.0
