Hi all! I'm Brittany. I've had a MFP account for a long time but never utilized it. I'm 26, a mother to a 3 year old little girl. I was fairly overweight when I got pregnant and my weight has been up and down since then. I'm currently at my all time highest weight. I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos and PCOS, which have contributed to that a smidge. But mostly, it's all poor diet and lack of exercise. I'm also currently recovering from a pretty bad lisfranc fracture so my exercise capabilities are severely limited at the moment. I'm trying to stay focused on diet right now. I'm taking it in baby steps, switching out unhealthy ingredients or healthier options, hiding vegetables in everything I cook, eating salads with my lunches, etc. I have a lot of weight to lose and am looking forward to utilizing the site and forums to keep me accountable and on track!

  • You can do it, just keep a positive attitude, as a negative one will never help your cause. All you need is a sometimes is a good job and that will keep you going. I know it does for me. Keep at it, you can keep it off, make sure to drink water and make sure you are always rewarding yourself for a good day!
