I was thinking about doing this program but it says no cardio for 12 weeks. Is that correct? Is the program for someone who is already in shape or near in shape? i have a lot of weight to lose and dont know if I should do this now or later. Or if I should pair it up with cardio. Any suggestions? thanks a lot!

No, that's not right. There's no cardio for the first 4 weeks. Then she has you doing 4-5 cardio sessions per week in phase 2. I'm not on phase 3 yet, but I think the cardio is stepped up even more because that's the fat-cutting stage. The program is really just a basic periodization plan for weight training. This is a good model to follow for lifting at any level.0
