Hey guys, recently I've been diagnosed with glandular fever, I'm pretty sure I'm over it, but I've been told it can strike again even when you think you're over it :( anyway that's not what this is about, basically I just wanted to know if anyone's had it and when you started your workout routines again, how did you feel? Did it take a toll on your body?
My muscles are still pretty weak so I think I'm going to have to slowly build myself upto it again, maybe try 3 days a week to start.
:)

    .

I hope you continue to get better. I would say start off slow and work up to things. :flowerforyou:
  • It's also called mononucleosis, or mono.

How long has it been since you started feeling better? When I had it, I felt better after just a few weeks, but I still wasn't allowed to do anything more than walk to school (about 15 - 20 mins) for nearly two months.

I had it last year for 6 weeks. I was definitely weaker when I started working out again, but it came back pretty quick once i got a routine going again. I probably wouldn't have had it for 6 weeks but I didn't give my body any rest until I had been really sick for a couple weeks.

Hope you are feeling better soon, and just ease back into it with a couple days a week.
