I've been slightly disappointed in myself this week for my lack of self control when it comes to the Krispy Kreme products that have been very prevalent in my house. However, this morning, official weigh in day, I was down 2 more lbs. Haha, sometimes this weight loss thing can drive me insane. I must remember what I have learned so far, if I continue to hit my numbers and be patient, the weight has no choice but to leave!!!

I love MFP.

Damn straight! Good to be reminded of it!
  • Three cheers for the Krispy Creme diet!! :drinker:
  • As hard as it is, maybe try removing all "junk food" from the home. I have a bag of stuff I am giving away today. If I know it is there I will eat it and drive myself insane. Congrats on your loss though! I gained 5 lbs over xmas and am disappointed about it.

Sadly, my life is one big pile of junk food. I've been able to adjust my intake levels and try to stay away from candy bars and *cough donuts, and also make better, not perfect, choices. It's working...for me.

    1) be a better shopper. I have no self control once the food is in my house, but I can be a pretty good shopper (when I want to be).

    2) the scale sucks. focus on the long term trend of the scale, not daily or even weekly fluctuations.

This is good advice. It all starts in the shop! I'm the same, i find it hard to control myself if its in the house but i'm very good at getting a good healthy shopping trip in. The issues arrise when my wife goes shopping and buys loads of bad food!
