    Yes, you have to do it for you however... WHY? As far as I'm concerned, the most important reason is YOUR HEALTH! People forget to ask themselves, "What quality of life do I want for myself as I get older?" Some think, "I'll do an extra workout to compensate for (insert tasty food here)." What is being forgotten is how that particular food affects our body and how it accumulates over time (and I'm not talking just weight here). What kind of illnesses and disease plague your family? For me, it's that dreaded word: CANCER. Which by the way, I've had twice! (First time: AGE 21)

    So please, not only "lose weight and/or get fit" for you, do it for your future and where you want to be as you hit your golden years. Yes, I want to look "hot" but I also want to be "healthy" until the day I die. I wish this for everyone... :smile:

    While I agree this is a very important reason. For me personally there is one higher:

    1. My Kids

    True, but it all comes back to YOU. You do it for your kids because of your own reasons, wanting to set a good example, be around for a long time, etc.

    So really it's for you wanting to be awesome for your kids. Bam.
