Upped my calories, lost appetite

Recently I upped my calories from 1400 to 1600. My BMR is just over 1400 so I realized 1600 would be better. I was doing 1200 for a while before that and I was hungry a lot on that little. The problem is that I am never hungry any more. Well, I guess that’s not really a problem per say, but is that normal to all for a sudden not have any appetite when you up calories? Yesterday I didn’t eat anything until almost 1 pm and I wasn’t even hungry then. Usually I try to eat on a schedule so I won't forget to eat. It’s been this way since I upped my calories and it’s rather odd. And don’t get me started on exercise calories. I don’t even touch those! Is it possible that I am eating too much?

Hunger is your body telling you that you have failed to give it the nutrients it needs, not an early warning system that it is meal times.

So I should just continue as is? I have been trying to eat less processed foods, so maybe this is helping?

I used to eat 1400 calories a day but it proved to be difficult dropping weight for me (I was also less active at the time) so I lowered it to 1250 for a couple of months. I'm relatively small - barely 5'2" and 112lbs now so the daily calories worked well for me.

I was never hungry but on days I would go over my calories towards 1400, I'd have that gross feeling of being bloaty for little chunks of the day. Over time, your stomach will adjusts to your eating habits. Mine is no longer "used to" eating so much food so eating extra for the day just makes me feel too full.

This statement isn't always true.. you can be full of vitamin/nutrient devoid foods and not be hungry..
