More Cardio or More Weights?

Hey pals,
I would like to lose about 30lbs, but I noticed my body changes the fastest when I lift weights. I currently do about 30-40 mins of cardio 2-3 times a week and then add a Taebo DVD or Jillian Michaels DVD for weight purposes about 5 days a week.
Should I add more cardio? I want to keep my curves, and I know I can do that with weight lifting. Typically my body stays the same but it just shrinks a size or two when I lift weights. However I still have a stomach and am a thick girl. For the weight to come off, should I incorporate more cardio or just keep this steady pace?
Of course diet changes too, but I'm just talking strictly workouts
Thanks!
