Take measurements and pictures for sure. But I would have started some type of strength training right away as well.0

True..........but I still have to poach them from everyone else lol0 -
I'd tell myself to stick with it. I'd probably have a lot more progress if I had.
I joined in Feb. 2009, but quickly left. Then came back in January 2010, and I've been here ever since.
Oh, and I'd probably warn myself about certain members on mfp not to add as friends....just to save myself the time of deleting them later.....0 -

I'd deactivate.0 -
I'd make this exact thread moments before you just did0

progress pictures. Thats my regret now. not having that day one pic to compare side by side with the newer me.0

take pictures
lift weights, because measurements are what matter. It's not helpful to be squishy and skinny and it's hard to work up to muscular from skinny and you look tighter quicker instead of squishier for longer.
I'd realize that the number MFP gives is greatly under the amount you need to eat to lose weight. I'd rather set my goal to what my TDEE is and eat under it.
...I even made a thread hoping some people would learn things I found out to be 'new' to a lot of newbies.

Progress pictures. Don't have any of me from 1 year ago or 2 years ago.
I use to take bi-weekly pictures and send them to a friend who was no-nonsense with me and she would be honest with me. But, I fat-fingered the phone number one time and sent to the wrong person.0 -

i'd remind myself that I'm here for the TMI Tuesdays and boobies....
and not be so serious about it the first 8 months....

Lololol! I can only hope the pictures didn't show too much "progress" if you know what I mean. Must have been interesting for the recipient!0 -
I'd deactivate.
But then you wouldn't have interacted with all of us awesome people.0 -
Tell myself to take it way more seriously!!! I joined In 2009 and am just now starting to work with the program.0
-
I would tell myself to relax. It's not that serious.
And, I would tell myself to try Quest bars. :happy:0 -
