Ideas please!!

Hello everyone. I am a 31 year old mother of 5 and a wife. I am about 58 lbs over weight and need some support. I have tried dieting several times and always end up giving up. My problem is that I'm inpatient and a quitter. I get frusturated because we are financially tight and when we do have money to go shopping for food, i have to get the most for what I have and that is usually all the crap. All rice, pasta's, top ramen, ect. All of the whole foods are so expensive. Any tips would be much appreciated. My co worker is giving me her elliptical so I am going to start using that 1/2 hour a day and using my arm weights for 1/2 hour. Thank you :)
