I just notcied that Planks were not an option for excersing. I would like to add it since I try to do a 30 sec plank everyday, but am not sure what to enter it under. Any ideas?

Planks aren't for burning calories, it's a strength trainer. The calorie burn would be minimal but you could enter it under strength training.

I figured it was under strength training. I guess the question is how would you enter time since it asles for reps and sets

you can do planks in sets. a rep would be the minutes you hold it or. so may do planks 3 times holding each for 2 minutes. just put 3 sets 2 for reps

The only way to account for time is to create a Cardio exercise.

I have done this with Les Mills Pump becuase my company has a program where we track minutes per month - regardless of the exercise and MFP is easy to allow for tracking this way. I use a low calorie burn amount though since it is not true cardio.

Its very difficult to figure out how many calories weight training burns. Depends on your size, the intensity, etc.

best thing to do is get a heart rate monitor :) it tells you how many calories you burn based on your age, weight and heart rate and then I enter it under cardio, purely for ease xxx

But is not accurate for strength work - only for steady state cardio.

Especially not lying on the floor for 30 seconds. Come on now.
