New to this exercising lark!

Hi all,
One of my aims for 2013 is to start exercising regularly. At the moment I walk between the train station and work, and go for walks on the weekends, but that is all. I have ME and find while I am working full-time it is all I have the energy for without making myself ill. However in March I am dropping down to working 3 days a week, and want to use some of the time and energy I free up by doing so to exercise, boosting my weight loss and fitness and hopefully my recovery, too.
I need to be sensible about it though - if I start out trying to do too much I know it will end in disaster! So I'm considering doing aqua fit on a Tuesday and go running on a weekend. Initially it will only be one running session a week but I figure it's better than no sessions a week.
Are there any other exercise newbies out there who would like to link up on here and share support?
