How do you stay motivated?

I have this yo-yo love/hate affair with my weight. I bloat up to 200 lbs, get disgusted with myself and get determined to get back to 180. I exercise, log back in here, keep it on track and weight comes off. Love seeing the changes and loosening of clothing! Then, I get close to 180 or so, and slowly but surely I begin missing entries. A lunch here, an extra snack there. Fast forward to today, and I realize that I've put it all back on while not tracking at all. Oh, I saw it coming back, felt the tightening, and kept saying "I've got to get back to tracking" but I couldn't seem to get that determination or feeling of disgust back strong enough to do it.
So here I am, in 2013, again back to tracking, again thinking I won't let it get away from me, etc.
So, how do the winners out there maintain that level of never letting your guard down long enough to ruin it all? I have to know!!

You just need to really want it. You need to change your lifestyle, not just the food you eat. It seems you're just treating this as a diet more than being healthy. Try just replacing the bad food with the good. Get more active, get hobbies that keep you active. You have to really want it. I'm not doubting you don't, but maybe not as bad as you think you do?0

I have the same problem.....I do well from Jan - Sept, but then I seem to fall off the wagon and gain 10-15lbs back and have to start over. I am the only one out of 4 in my house that works out and watches what I eat......it is hard to stay motivated and work hard when the people around you don't. That being said, nothing tastes as good as thin feels!!! I am keeping that in mind this year when I struggle to lose weight again (I am about 160, want to get down to 148) but these pounds for me are the hardest. I am going to add weights this year and hope it helps.....try doing new things and set new lower goals often and that might help you. Good luck!0
