FIT BIT QUESTION>>Help!

I set mine up yesterday and so far so good. Everything is syncing etc....
I walked on the treadmill this A.M. for 35 minutes at a 15% incline. Total calories burned was 400 (according to my HRM)
I know that the fitbit does not calculate the incline for the calories burned, only steps. I also know that I am able to adjust the exercise calories with the fitbit website. So I guess my question to all you experts is How much should I adjust? I am not sure how many calories the fitbit gave me during that time. Do I simply add the 400 calories to the website? or attempt to calculate the difference? If that is the case....how do I go about doing that?
Thanks in advance to anyone with a response. Truly appreciated!!!

You can manually add exercise on FitBit.com.
If you go to the activity section you can type in an exercise to search for. I checked my page and if you search for 'treadmill', 'Treadmil, 15% incline" is a choice that will pop up. It'll then ask you for your duration of exercise, distance traveled, and start time. It should figure out the adjustment from there.
If I remember from reading the manual stuff for the fitbit, it needs the start time and duration if you're logging something specific because it'll adjust your calories burned based on what you tell it.
There is also an option to manually add the calories burned too.
I just got my Fitbit this Christmas as a gift, so I'm still learning the ins and outs of it too. I hope this helps though!0 -
A couple quick links from the FAQ section of FitBit.com that may help.

I forget where I saw it, but I do remember reading a note somewhere that before starting to exercise, putting your FitBit into stop watch mode so it'll both track a little more closely and highlight the activity more on your charts later on for easier reference.0
