I wasn't sure where to post this but, have you ever been working going at it beast mode for a while and some noob will come on the machine next to you and you can feel them looking at you and they go and turn on the fan! Like wtf I come to the gym to sweat my *kitten* off if I wanted the fan on I would turn it on. I enjoy sweating at the gym I feel like I accomplished something. I'm not there to go machine to machine texting my boyfriend, no I'm there to be a calorie burning machine. How is a nice way to tell people to eff off without saying it like that. I have this happen to me quite often more often in anytime fitness than my day time gym, and one time I did tell the girl if she was turning it on for me to forget it but if she needed it for her that was fine and she looked shocked I said something and responded that I looked hot. What do I do!?!?! Btw I always watch my heart I am not over straining myself by anymeans :)

Having the fan on doesn't stop you sweating, it just evaporates the sweat and helps keep you cool.

I understand that but it annoys me, I guess I should have said that.

I used to turn the fan on me to keep my face from going beat red and from sweating... I thought that everyone would notice and make fun of me... perhaps the person turning the fan on is doing it from... oh i dunno.. purely selfish reasons, and doesn't even really notice you?

btw... now I like getting my sweat on and hardly give a ratsass about what others think while I'm doing it...
