Is anyone doing or have done this work out? I am starting to wonder if I should be doing this. It says it's not for beginners, well I did 30ds. But after my work out my knees hurt badly. I have been doing this for a week, and I am not for sure if it because I am used to 30ds or if it is actually to much for me right now. I think it is kind of an intense work out. Maybe I should of did RI30. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

It is tough on your knees, but a great workout. Nothing else works you that hard in such a short time. After 30 days, you really do see a huge difference all over. I recommend sticking it out, but listen to your body and don't injure yourself.0

(I'm not obsessed I just got them in a cheap bundle on ebay!)
I have
30DS
RI30
Shred it with weights
six week six pack
no more trouble zones
banish fat boost metabolism
and then older versions of her shape up - front, back, full body and cardio kickbox
... Ripped in 30 is my favourite and 30 day shred gave me the best weight loss results (possibly just cause I always do that one first and have more to lose/am more unfit?)
My advice if it's really tough on your knees would be to increase rest days? maybe just do it 5 times a week?
usually she's pretty good with giving a variation, if not in that dvd is there a variation from 30ds you could use for your knees?0 -
Some of Jillian's stuff bothers my knees also. I have tons of her videos, and I have had to learn to adapt a little as I have gotten into her more advanced stuff. For example: I can't do Surrenders, so I do Dead Lifts instead. When she does the reverse Squats from the floor up to Parallel--I just start higher and not completely down into the knee. Always make sure your weight is in your heel and not over the ball of your foot--it makes a huge difference with the stress on your knees but takes a little focus and concentration to get out of the bad habit. If you feel pain--it's a clear message something is bothering your knee. Try to figure out what it is that bothers you and scale back a bit on that one exercise. YOU CAN TOTALLY DO HER STUFF just learn to know your own body and make adjustments where you need to.
GOOD LUCK!!

P.S. DITTO THE ABOVE. I always alternate workouts--i.e., Killer Buns and Thighs one day and Extreme or No More Trouble Zones the next.0 -

This, definitely. I was able to modify the exercises I couldn't do, even able to continue doing her dvds after my knee surgery. Just cut out all the jumping, hopping and running and if there was no modification, then I just did my own thing.0 -
<~~~ I look like this because of her! She is pretty awesome! I love her ripped in 30, kickboxing and 6w6p. I did her workouts and got great results but like others said my knees also hurt with her workouts.0

Thank you for your replies. I think I will go purchase RI30 or 6W6P.0
