Hi everyone,

my name is Barry and I'm 39 years old. I'm looking to drop from my current weight of 255 to some smaller figure. At the moment I've targetted 200 lbs but I'm giving myself 9 months to do it.

Looking to do this through sensible eating (calorie counting) and increasing the amount I move on a daily basis to a point where I am exercising 3 - 4 times per week.

Like a lot of people I've been doing the weight gain - loss - gain pendulum for a number of years so this time I'm looking for slow and steady lifestyle changes. I'm not going to go head first into the scienc of weight loss but rather meander along looking at the long road.
