Drawing attention from a fat face

Okay, a month of rapid (but much needed) weight gain has gone straight to some undesired places. Legs and tummy I can just about deal with - easy enough to hide. But the fact that I look like a Cabbage Patch Doll? Yeah, that's kinda getting me down.

Does anyone have any tips and tricks for drawing attention away from a round face, or slimming it down?

Bronzes swept under your chin and cheekbones would help.

A few layers in your hair at your jawline, and under your chin

    Don't wear turtlenecks or chokers

    I use a fringe (bangs)
long hair (just below the shoulders+ length)
also highlight the my favourite part of my face (usually lips,)
use blusher to contour my face (this for me was a lot of trial and error)

and finally and pray no-one looks and me and keep a low profile (I wouldn't advice that)

Thank you ladies. Am getting my hair cut on Saturday, so I will look at getting a cut that draws attention away from my cheeks/chin. And although I'm not usually one for wearing much make-up, I think I'd benefit greatly from doing so at the moment. Perhaps some heavier eye make up, and playing with blushers/bronzers until I find a technique which helps make my face look slimmer.

Bamsie, your last suggestion is probably the one I'll turn to first! But when I can't avoid going out, I'll do my very best to keep all attention away from me :)

Not necessarily low cut, but v neck shirts are always a help.

Run around topless wearing a WW1 Kaiser helmet singing Clang Clang Clang Went the Trolley.

I agree - nothing too close to the neck - also wear longer necklaces and scarves that hang low, not wrapped around the neck.

The weight loss means I have no la-las left to take all the attention! :( But clothes and accessories that draw out the neckline - got it!
