Bee Pollen

I've heard that Bee Pollen can help with weight loss. A girl friend of mine takes it and goes on the elliptical for an hour everyday and lost 60 lbs in less than year.

Well I can't tell you much about bee pollen but I've haven't taken bee pollen and I've exercised and lost 75 lbs in less than a year. Just saying.0

I've heard that as well. So I researched it and researched it including talking to my aunt that has a "bee farm" and collects/sells pollen. It does have health benefits but weight loss is not one of them. Your friend lost 60 lbs because she is creating a calorie defecit. Trust me I've tried many, I've lost 106 lbs and the only true answer to weight loss is good old fashioned hard work and diet.0

Do you perhaps think the elliptical had more to do with the weight loss than bee pollen?! Remember, Correlation doesn't necessarily equal Causation.0

Well the year previous she was using the elliptical for the same amount of time, 60 minutes a day, and had a lot of trouble losing weight. Then she heard somewhere about the bee pollen and a month after she started taking it she started losing the weight faster. Maybe just a coincidence, but she is convinved its the bee pollen lol0

I have a wasp intolerance and you know that Wendy! Why would you even bring it up? :sad:0 -
I thought pollen came from flowers and just ends up on the bees.0

I used to have bee pollen with my breakfast to fight my hay fever.
Didn't seem to have an effect on my weight, though.
They are really good for you. Lots of vitamins and minerals. I read somewhere that they are (one of) the most complete foods nutrition-wise there is.0
