I LOVE tuna, but I don't want to eat mayonaise anymore, not even the low-fat kind. What sorts of things do you do to make plain tuna more tasty?

Use light sour cream instead! We love to have tuna w/ light sour cream + white vinegar + ground black pepper!
Add a cucumber and tomato and you have a salad!0 -
My college roommate used to mix pickle relish with it.
Just a thought
Oh, and I like it with cottage cheese :blushing:0 -
or fat free natural yoghurt, vanillas actually quite nice on it too!!!! X X X0

I used miso dressing last time. It was actually pretty good with a little sweet pickle relish.0

I've mixed it with a nice spicy brown mustard to give it a little kick...0

Laughing Cow cheese is actually really good as a mayo subsitute in tuna salad. Just let it come up to room temp and then it mixes in nicely.0

I buy the bumble bee tuna sensations, they are flavored so you dont have to put anything in them and only about 110 cals per can. You can eat it with spinach alone with out dressing cause the tuna has so much flavor.0

The talk all around these boards the past few days has been about laughing cow... how about using that??0

Try Greek yogurt and/or Vegenaise. You could mix the two together or use them separately.0

Relish is great with tuna. I've been eating a tuna to go pack that comes with relish and it is great.0

YAY FOR TUNA AND SALSA SALADS!!!!0 -
Try it mexican style! I use:
2 cans of canned starkist tuna, drained
1 roma tomato chopped
1/8 cup of finely chopped onion
1 whole lime, juiced
1/8 cup cilantro, chopped
adobo seasoning to taste or salt/ pepper
I usually customize the tomato, onion, cilantro, lime and adobo, to taste. This is general measuring of ingredients.0 -
I do egg white and tuna omelets. The suggestions sound great though, and I might try some!0

Nonfat yogurt--especially Greek yogurt is nice and thick and has the same texture as sour cream or mayonnaise.
I also like a light dressing of 1 part olive oil, 2 parts lemon juice with a bit of salt and pepper. It isn't fat-free, but I aim for about 30% of my calories from "good" fat anyway.0 -
