Waking up Starving...

Hi Everyone!
My friend and I go to a 7pm Cardio/Strength class 2-4 days a week so basically I eat a light dinner by 8:30-9pm.
Some examples would be a 3-6oz peice of protein and vegtable but now I find myself waking up at 2am Starving!
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what will keep me full all night but won't be too heavy to consume.
Thanks! ;>)

Probably eating more, but it's hard to say without a little more insight into your calorie goals, your BMR, and your TDEE. But most likely you should eat more.0

Greek yogurt is yummy and has lots of protein so it fills you up0

Are you drinking enough water?? Save some calories and have a small snack just before bed. Something with protein and drink water.0

1) Eat more after the class.
2) Keep a glass of water by the bed and sip that.
3) Hunger's just a feeling. You can ignore it. I've discovered you can go for at least 16 hours without food and won't die. Once upon a time, I used to always have a snack just before going to bed. :laugh:0 -
Maybe add some fat and a whole grain.0

Drink a ice cold glass a water and go back to sleep. I never wake up hungry and I fast for 18hrs a day, every day.0

There is nothing wrong with waking up hungry, but if it is keeping you up at night.. Carbs in the morning plus 6 egg whites and unlimited veggies. And if you eat 6 meals a day, you should definitely include protein in almost every meal. I dont mean yogurt or nuts or anything, i mean fish, poultry, even home made protein bars ( look up Jamie Easons protein bars) oh and look up Jamie Easons turkey muffin recipe for a quick on the go protein option!!!0

how many calories per day are you consuming? What is your goal? How are you set up on MFP...if you're set up as sedentary and truly are sedentary (i.e. a desk job with little moving around during the day) other than your exercise you should be logging exercise calories as accurately as possible and eating those calories back. Nothing wrong with a light dinner so long as you're getting the proper amount of calories throughout the day. This really shouldn't be painful and you shouldn't be waking up with hunger pangs...if you are, something is wrong. You need to get your calories right as well as your macro nutrients...i.e. getting the right stuff to stay satiated.0

I'm set-up to consume 1200 calories per day and Sedentary since I do have a desk job. I'm currently at 163 and am looking at a goal of 140. I think I probably am being woken by hunger because I'm not eating the calories I burn back.
HAHA! Water! Love water! Yes, I defiantly drink half my body weight of water a day and this also has me waking up throughout the night.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone, I really apprecaite it!0
