Achy legs

So I recently started working out again as of January 1. I havent worked out in over 6 months because in July 2012 I broke my foot and tore some tendons in my foot. This is also the same foot that I have had 4 surgeries on. So I have been trying to ease back into working out. I have a recumbment (sp?) stationary bike. I have been doing anywhere from 20-35 minutes 2x daily, once in the am and once in the pm. I typically have been averaging about 12-15 miles a day on the bike. Since doing this I have noticed that my legs ache soooooo much. Its not a muscle ache its like a growing pain ache. Just a dull ache that wont go away. Just curious if anyone had any suggestions and or experience with this too. I have been trying to add bananas to my diet daily hoping this would help.
