Ladies - Back of Shirt Adjustments

Question for the ladies.
I often notice women adjusting the back of their shirts and pulling them down. Is it a comfort thing, trying to reveal less because you think someone is looking, or both?
Or perhaps most appropriately to draw attention to your rear, which is truly what it does?

We look skinner when our shirt is pressed nicely against our behinds instead of scrunched in a balled up mess at the top of our waist.0

huh? yeah, I do this all the time.
1) fix my neckline (pulling down on the back pulls the neckline up)
2) nervous habit
3) cover the muffin top

When the top of the thong shows, it looks like a whale's tail.0 -
For me it has less to do with what's going on in the back and more to do with what's going on in the front.0
-
For me, it's usually a layering adjustment.0

In recent years it would be to cover up, when I was like teeny and knew my *kitten* was my best feature I am pretty sure I used to make adjustments just so people would look.0

I'm cold either in the front or the back.0

if you have to continually adjust your clothes it's either the wrong cut for you or the wrong size0 -

For me, my waist is a good size and a half smaller than my awesomely awesome giant butt. So what fits me in the butt, is big in the waist. When I bend or squat down, there's usually slippage, even with a belt......... so I spare the world my buttcrack and adjust my shirt accordingly.0
