What do you watch when working out?

Last night I was watching Duke-Davidson.
Usually though I just listen to music. Mostly the Foo Fighters or similar.0 -
I watch my insane muscles battle for the attention of the awed spectators witnessing my awesomeness.
Or I stare off into space and imagine what a goat disco would be like. Whatever.
I have been to many goat rodeos...but never a goat disco? Doesn't the shiny ball distract them and cause them to butt heads?0 -
The trees, the birds, the kids playing in the park, the road for cars, and my HRM0

I either read my nook or TRY to read the closed captioning on some combination of the evening news, HGTV, Food Network and CSPAN at the gym - since I can't read that far, I usually go with the nook0

I have found that I like watching cartoons while I am on my elliptical at home. I watch Netflix on my tablet and just finished watching Avengers: Earth's mightiest heroes and just started watching the old X-Men cartoon from the 90's. And it works out that usually 3 episodes is just about 60 minutes. Perfect timing.0

I just started watching things as I workout and my favorite is standup comedy0

Avengers: EMH is awesome!0 -
I love watching 'Worlds Dumbest...' but when they have an idiot run into something or break something, my body has the natural reaction to reflex which can be dangerous while on the treadmill. This dose a thrill to 'treading the mill', though.0

Whether at the gym or running outside, I always watch people. Ok, not watch - stare... and sometimes end up accidentally making eye contact with them while creeper-staring and even seeing how uncomfortable and often scared they are, I just can't look away...
My hubs always says that one of these days someone is going approach me about it...

I love walking and just can't keep my eyes off the lady's0

I want to watch sitcoms or something light while on the elliptical. Something to distract me slightly from the time but not focus my attention on. I have to keep track of my intervals for HIIT. Afraid a movie would take too much of my attention. Reba is great!
Hubby, on the other hand, loves to watch movies. Once he starts one on his laptop, he only allows himself to watch it while on the elliptical. He says it makes him get back on the next day so he can finish his movie!0 -
Most of my workouts are outside (running, or working out on the deck), so I watch whatever crosses my line of sight...I guess.0
-
Movies with a lot of exploding and gun fire action... it makes me feel dangerous, well okay maybe not dangerous but it makes me feel a lot more motivated for some reason. Like it's a viagra for exercise.0

FOOD NETWORK. :P
It's the only channel worth watching on TV anymore, in my opinion. And the TV in front of my treadmill doesn't have a DVD player for movies either. Boo!0 -
Judge Judy and then the local news.0

Ok, I'm not sure if this is narcissistic or not (probably is) but if I'm not running outside, I just listen to music, turn off the tv screen they have on the machines at my gym and look at my face. Partly bc I wanna make sure my shoulders are relaxed, chin not lifted, etc.... But also bc when I feel like p*ssing out, I'm looking at the person I'm doing all this for. Sorry for the novel.
WOW!! This is exactly what I do too!!0 -
When at the gym, I watch SVU...or CSI0
-
Breaking Bad on Netflix is really good0
-
Whenever I find myself droning away on a cardio machine at the gym and without my ipod, it's usually the Big Bang Theory that's on. I like to watch funny shows that make me LOL so I can be that creepy chick at the gym laughing to herself.0

Whatevers on the tube, but preferably something engaging so I'm not actually thinking so much about working out. If I think about it I tend to defeat myself.
There's a Mentalist marathon on, that should be good stuff.0 -
I listen to audiobooks. Dorky, I know0
