freaking out about muscle loss

I hope you all can help. I am currently 360 down from 380. I am at a 1000 cal deficit. I eat all my excercise cals. I recently adjusted my macros so that i am taking in 150 or better in protein. I keep reading about muscle loss at a deficit. I do 30 to 40 min cardio 4 or 5 times a week. I do resistance(machines) each body part 1.5 to 2 times a week(body for life kinda). Will i just end up a lighter weight but a greater percent of fat? Wont that make it harder to keep weight off? Totally confused lol thanks
