My stupid freakin' job

Actually it isn't stupid at all. I am a RN in cardiovascular ICU and I am really proud of the work I do. I love it. But, it is freaking tiring sometimes. And it work rotating shifts. Which wears me out even more. How do others that rotate find the energy to get workouts in and cook healthy meals? Cause I know that all I really wanna do after work is curl up on the couch and eat something that required no prep (aka cereal for 2 meals a day).

Hello there! Well, the main thing is finding a routine. It wont be set because of the rotating shifts. I'm a nurse also. I worked rotating shifts for a long time. Your body is used to the "daily" routine. If you add more daily, you body adjusts to it accordingly. Your body knows when you get off...you curl up on a couch. Change that pattern and your body will change. It's hard...but you can do it!
