I didn't realize there was a plan involved. I just thought it was a food journal site.0

I use MFP more as a journal rather than follow the plan, but I find it very effective as such. Before I found MFP I used to just track calories consumed in an Excel worksheet, but the ability to easily track macros and other nutrients along with exercise calories burned coupled with the invaluable support of friends really ups the game and makes MFP a tremendous tool. I would rate it very highly, maybe a 4.5 out of 5.0

That's probably why it is successful. You tweak your food amounts, food choices, and activities to suit yourself and if you stick with it, it works. If you want to eliminate certain foods or entire food groups, you can, but doing so isn't part of a diet "plan" where if you deviate you have "failed."0
