i just lost 8lb in three days

and it was all PMS bloating. it means nothing.

i know i was very bloated this month but i thought i would post just to illustrate a point.
i've seen a few threads by women who weigh daily, freaking over sudden gains.

  • LOL im with you I weight weekly for that very reason. My body can shift 5-6lbs depending on the time of the month.

    I needed to read this. I've been 'good' for 4 days. No beer, no crisps, no chocolate and eating between 1300-1400 kcals and I've gained 3lb. This is officially the joint heaviest I've ever been in my life (last time I was this weight was 8 years ago) and, really, I should know that getting on the sodding scales once a day will do nothing to motivate me I just can't seem to help it.

    it's far too easy to obsess over the scales. even for guys, full tummy, bladder & bowel weigh pounds more than empty belly, bladder & bowels. we're no slimmer or fitter for taking a dump!
